Another straggler in the wind
I wonder where he’s going
Where he’s been
Will he ever get there
Ever come back
It’s a shame his shoes are soleless
They still have a way to go
Looking as if there’s no life
No heart beating
No heart to go on

He knows the talk
And he knows the walk
The lazyness in it amazes me
Moving forward, moving on
As if in a trance
His left to right shuffle dazes me (gait in place of shuffle?)
That monotonous movement enthralls
A calling to sadness
His tired smile does attract
It’s just another passing
Another day that passes
One more to his road
Another to his journey
I wonder if he’ll get there
If he’ll come back
